Corporate family friendly policy from the perspective of employers

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of family-friendly company policies in the Czech Republic. The text introduces individual measures, taking which can employer help to manage working and family life of his employees. The thesis aims at providing the reader with the development of the concept of family-friendly company policy before and after 1989 and anchoring it in the legislative system of the Czech Republic. The part containing research analyzes on the basis of a case study opinions and attitudes of employers themselves. Based on the analysis, the thesis reaches a conclusion that the employers are interested in family-friendly company policy because they find the employees' satisfaction in the workplace important; nevertheless they perceive the support from the state as insufficient. Early Childhood Education as Means of Parental and Professional Roles in Region Ústí

My thesis "Pre-school education as a means of harmonization of parental and working roles in the region Ústí", focuses on different types of kindergartens, which can be one of the tools for harmonization of parental and professional roles. This issue is also linked with the problem of lack of places in kindergartens, which isn't entirely new, but there has not be found yet any suitable solutions that would help eliminate this problem. Because of wide range of different types of kindergartens parents have the option to choose suitable kindergarten for their children as well as kindergarten can adapt to demands of parent so that they were allowed to return to work. This work is concerned with the extent to which directors of kindergartens (as frontline employees) and municipality (representatives bureaucracy) affect the determined indicators (time availability, space availability, affordability and services), and adaptation of the kindergartens with respect to harmonization of parental and working roles. Based on interviews with the director of kindergarten and with representatives of community, it was found that the established indicators are more suggestible in kindergarten established by the private sector, as the directors of these kindergartens are also the founders. How to Establish a Company

The diploma thesis "How to establish a company" focuses on pre-school education. Specifically, on the establishment of a fictitious company day care at a planned business center comprised of office buildings and an ambulance station. Primary purpose of this study is to summarize the activities and difficulties that are associated with the foundation of a successful project. The study describes business strategy, competitive advantage, business vision and mission and legislative issues relating to operation of a company day care. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the first, theoretical part, we focus on description of terms associated with starting a business, entrepreneurs, and legal environment in the Czech Republic. The second, practical and analytical, part consists of detailed project of establishment of a company day care and also outlines problems arising in this area. These are hidden discrimination against women and the lack of capacity in public nurseries. The final financial plan evaluates feasibility of the project and assesses whether the investment is the right choice.

Strategická analýza nestátní neziskové organizace

The goal of my diploma work is to provide a detailed strategic analysis of a non-governmental and non-profit organization. The focus in the theoretical part is to describe all the necessary theoretical instruments. Hyperaktivita, o.s. is the subject of the practical part of my analysis. It is the only organisation in the Czech republic systematicaly addressing the issue of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)in young children. Their new project Firemní školka is a very promising way of supporting their main activities and further determines several strategic implications.
